Joe,

One of our male elementary teachers, aka the volleyball coach, had

this surgery 4 years ago. In was out-patient (at Mayo Clinic), with

a bandaid covering the dinky, hardly worth talking about, incision

and he was home and walking by the end of the day. I can't recall

if he was off work 2 or 3 weeks, but certainly not more than that.

He was back to volleyball in 5 months. He said the pain was minimal

and the relief immediate.

Thanks for that report. , I did check out that website, so I

came here to see if anyone had done it. , if your friend has

any advice or can offer any more details about his case, I would

like to hear it.

I'm checking on rental beds now so I can put it where my recliner

is. I may have to trade in my old TV for one of them there Plasma

Screens. :)

I had a 2-level cervical ED in August. I'm still not sure it was

successful. I plan to have another MRI in a month or so. Ask any

questions you'd like.

Yes, I had a 2-level (C5/6 & C6/7) endoscopic discectomy 4 years ago,

by Dr. Stanton Schiffer in Fremont, CA. Despite the promising

testimonials on his website, I did not receive much pain relief from

the procedure. Another doc told me that since the discs have been

surgically perforated, they will need to be removed if I have any

further surgery, like fusion...

Good luck!
