Guest guest
I live in NJ. I think Long Island is about 4 hours away from me, as I have friends with family out there! I live closer to Philly, PA! Chat with ya later~ Hugs, Dawn " A friend should be mathematical. Guest guest
If I could, trust me I would. But with my schedule right now I can't travel to MA several times to see one doctor. I just can't do it. Immort1@... wrote: SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO TRAVEL TO GET THINGS DONE PROPERLY. Guest guest
no, i live in manhattan. the beth israel spine institute is in manhattan. i think my doctor did pretty good. all the nerve pain is gone. it was gone right after th surgery. what i have now is really bad arthritis pain. in my whole body. sucks kind of. especially since i have always been very active and am still swimming 1/2 hour every day. but doctor said i cannot take my celebrex which really controls arthritis until 3 months post op. i never realized how much celebrex controlled the arthritis pain. or for that matter how much arthritis pain i have in my whole, whole body. my back is very, very stiff post op. and i get back spasms which sometimes make me cry out. the surgery was tremendous but i am still in a lot of pain from other stuff which i think became worse b ecause of the surgery. i was just never aware of how severe my arthritis is before the surgery. and my back was never stiff before. bending over - or trying to - is a trip. but i did not have a choice about the surgery. i couldn't walk anymore. and i think dr. kuflik did a really good job. i will have the RF again in december if the back pain below my waist does not calm down by then. and then maybe i will be good to go. marsha In a message dated 7/17/2006 10:00:24 PM Eastern Standard Time, Immort1@... writes: FROM BOSTON MARSHA? Guest guest
In a message dated 7/18/2006 10:36:30 AM Eastern Standard Time, i had a laminectomy and fusion with cage rods and the whole 9 yards. screws two. L3-L4. i had no choice in the surgery. i think the doctor did a good job for what he was working on. but i am still in crap pain. pain across my lower back. that seems to be manageable this week. my legs are just driving me nuts. i think that is the arthritis. and i use to take celebrex for that. i faxed doctor today and he said no celebrex until 9/1/06. yes, i am pissed. truly pissed. all of a sudden my body is totally letting me down and i wasn't ready for this emotionally. i am not ready to feel like i am the aging parent. it sucks. big time. i want to rock and roll. i use to feel like i could conquer the world. that was before bad back stuff. so, i am angry. i think i will go to movies tonite and eat popcorn. marsha jeniegirl27@... writes: What kind of surgery did they do for you? Guest guest
mark thanks, you know you can do the lower case in a bigger font. like now i am using 10. and this font is #16. just a thought. i know about the trying to see stuff. it just looks so angry when it is in caps and i know that is not what you are trying to present. maybe i need baclofen. i miss my celebrex. my legs are just all over the place and i am getting back spasms. not fun. my legs wake me up in the middle of the night and then that is it for sleep. okay. i am not going to complain anymore. it's boring. marsha

Guest guest
Well this is a bit easier. Everyday I start with 2 percocet,1 valium and 1 baclofen. the baclofen I take 3 times a day percs another 4 throughout the day and valium, baclofen and percs to go to sleep which lasts for about 4 hours then it's up and down the rest of the night. Between the stenosis, fibromyalgia and mylopothy my sleeping habits are not the greatest. Yes my legs and arms are sore and spasm most of the day.
