Morning All,

For 8 years I have watched as my inflammation levels moved slowly up

and down. I never had 3 consecutive rises, so the HMO suggested just

being checked annually. For the past 6 months, I have been caring

for my partner who is on Peg/CoPeg treatment, and what a nightmare

that has been. About 3 months ago, I knew I was getting hit hard

with the Hep-C on the move, the little voice within said " it's

started " . I put off going to the doctor because I knew we both could

not be on the treatment at the same time. I keep this from my

partner so that their treatment would not be compromised. Well,

when I did finally go to the doctor and do the blood work, just what

the " little voice " suspected was confirmed....Stage 3, Grade 3. So

next week I start the Peg/Co-Peg treatment. Is there anyone out

there who would like to let me know what to expect in the long run?

Having seen my partner work through the past 6 months, I know what

symptoms to expect, but my main concern is what could happen.

I have applied for disability from my former employer, who had a

generous program which lets former employees apply for disability

within 12 months of leaving the company, yet I am collecting

unemployment and at some point will have to tell them that I can't

look for work anymore. I don't want to get in trouble with

unemployment. So, I thought I would keep collecting until my former

employer approves(maybe) me and then I would pay all the

umemployment benefits back to the State. I need the income and I

know that Social Security would give me more a run for the buck than

I will be able to handle under treatment.

Any and all info in greatly appreciated. Best wishes to us all!
