Playing the devil's advocate here...........our disease hasn't been around long enough to know what long term outcomes for most of the therapies are. If the Pharma's are trying to convince us that shorter treatment times are working (because it is easier for the patients to be compliant), yet some docs are finding that people only REMAIN viral responders with the LONGER courses of treatment (at least so far), don't you think it behooves the Pharmas to have *us* do more than one course of treatment?....... thus....... wouldn't you want to do just ONE treatment and do it right the first time? Not do a shorter course because it is more convenient?
