Guest guest
Hi Yvette, It's not clear why the moderator left - I have tried to contact her on numerous occasions in several different ways. Her email address conntected to this site doesn't work. Once a moderator leaves a site, unless they appoint someone to moderate the board or give them the 'power' it cannot be bestowed on anyone. And unfortunately since no one here has the 'power', the message on the home page cannot be modified or changed. Since the moderator is gone and has been for quite some time, the message on the home page, is for the most part - moot. I've been a member of this board for almost 2 years - in the past it's been a great place to be able to exchange information. On a bad day it has degenerated into a place where folks come to call others names, promote unproven cures, act like children and cuss like sailors. Unfortunately without a moderator to temper things, it's out of control here the majority of the time. Fortunately, there are so many good informational and supportive websites out there for Hep C - so I have a tendency to spend most of my energy on those sites. However, I still stop by here to post messages on occasion and help point new folks in the direction of some of the wonderful, truly supportive and informative websites that I have found out there in cyberspace. Take care, Grace > Thanks Karolyn for your response! > I guess I'd like to know if this group really is to share all kinds > of information, or is the group leaning towards non-traditional > treatment? > Why did the moderator leave?
