She doesn't say how she was cured. Did she take the medical treatments or herbal treatments or what? She just says she had a contract with God and was cured. I'd love to hear how. Barbara PeachStatePam <figment@...> wrote: Naomi Judd: Confronting Hepatitis C Watch Video (Liz Bonis) -- Country music star Naomi Judd has been living with the aftermath of hepatitis C for several years. She wants others to

know the risks and the warning signs Naomi Judd said her personal ground zero was a diagnosis of hepatitis C, a serious liver disease. “Personal ground zeros strip us down and they make us see our priorities with real clarity,” she said. The disease is a virus that causes inflammation in the liver and in time can result in liver failure. Judd said, “It's going to kill four times more Americans than AIDS will in the next decade. Hepatitis C is the silent killer in our country.” The country music star said she's one of the lucky ones and is now cured. She is now trying to help other. “I really feel like the reason I was spared--and I have a contract with God--that I'll use the energy and the fact that I'm still radiantly healthy and feisty is to maybe to save someone else before they get too far down the road,” she said. Hepatitis C is spread through contact with infected blood. People

who had a blood transfusion before 1992, have had tattoos, or have ever shared needles with drug use are at risk. Judd said she got the disease from a needle stick while working as a nurse. A simple blood test can tell who has been infected. There are treatments now available, but it’s important to be tested, because by the time symptoms show up, it may be too late. The most common treatment includes a combination of an injected drug called interferon and a pill called ribavirin. Doctors say if patients take those two drugs, they stand to have a 50-60 percent chance of getting rid of the virus. http://www.13wham.com/health/local/story.aspx?content_id=CAB58663-602B-441D-B1C4-567E3A5C678D

Hello Barb

I am not sure what kind of treatment she took.

I personally am not fond of her because she is

very wealthy from her music career and then she

wants to charge people to give any of the info about

hepc I do not see how that is a contract with God.

I know that she did take her treatment in Sandsprings

ok and if you want I can find out from my friend who

keeps up with her.

Hello Barb

Ok Naomi Judd took herbs. My friend

keeps on trying to get me to go to Sandsprings

with her to the same health food store that Naomi

got her herbs from. So I think next week I will give in

to her and go I will let you all know what she took and

how it is suspose to work. Sandsprings is only like

20 minutes from me and since I am not doing treatment

again because I can not afford 1500 a month co pay.

But who knows the herbs could cost that much.

Hi Mattie, I find that exciting that Naomi only took herbs. If that's the case, why isn't she telling everyone who would listen what she took? I am geno 2 and am afraid of rx plus I don't feel ill but I would love to know that the hep was out of me, what a thrill that would be. Thanks for getting back to me. Where do you live? I would love to visit Sandsprings myself. Thanks for your help. BarbaraMattie <mattieabbus@...> wrote: Hello Barb Ok Naomi Judd took herbs. I think that if Naomi Judd was cured by alternative treatments, and is not an activist....that is just a GD shame (caps intended, excuse my french), imho. A person like that could do so much for the many out here who can't or won't or shouldn't try traditional therapy....there is a .org called Medicine Bridge that connects people with the assistance programs available from big pharma, but nothing similar for people who need/ can't afford alt treatments...."a Naomi Judd" could help make that sort of thing happen....again, IMHO...Barbara <barbarac102@...> wrote: Hi Mattie, I find that exciting that Naomi only took herbs. Hello Barb

I will find out more information for you

about Naomi and her herb treatment.

I do not know why she doesn't say

anything about what she did. I just

know from another HepC list I am on

that she is selling her cure. I know of

people who have joined her newsletter

and ordered her tee shirts and never got

any thing.

I live in Tulsa Oklahoma which like I said

is about 20 minutes from Sandsprings Ok.

Hi Mattie, Thank you. If what you say is true that's pretty sad, to put it mildly. One, selling her cure, two, taking money and not delivering. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks again. Hi , So, how did you find that out, at the concert? Just seems that her cure has been so low profile to cause me to wonder even more, how she did it. As we all know, being cured from hepc is a big thing and a wonderful things, how about sharing the joy? Hello

I remember when you told us all before about

Naomi selling those tapes. I still think it is

awful that a person with her wealth wants to

make money off of people who are disparate

for a cure of Hep C. She does not need the money

and she could save someone's life by sharing

her info. I know the treatment did not work for

me when I tried it. There are people in this world

with HepC that is less fortunate than me. I hope

she at least donates the money she makes off

the tapes to Hep C research.

Hello

Thank you for this information also.

I agree with you she does not need the

money and if she is using God to make

a profit that is really wrong. I do know

the power of prayer never hurts but

what she is doing is really evil.

Hi Mattie,

I'm so glad you remember that & cassette tapes don't cost that much.I remember when I read that,it ticked me off so bad,I wanted to confront her in front of a crowd,my family wouldn't let me.Said they'd put me in jail. LOL

She has a right to charge what she wants for her music but 35 bucks for a small tape.I don't call that christian. She said she don't mention hep much because people & sponsers would shy a way,the wouldn't want to hear it.I hope she gets

a big pimple on her nose before, her next stage appearance.LOL She's greedy.
