No, I will take your word for it, Liz.

I had posted the offer on the Hep C Help forum with some details, which I hadn't mentioned here. And the offer was really just for our members originally, some of you frequent both lists. So I guess I should and clear up any confusion.

Dr. Luca has agreed to let us have MAP at this price because he considers it a humanitarian effort. MAP is marketed as a wieght loss/body builder product, Dr. Luca created it for AIDS victims and people undergoing chemo and tx who are wasting due to starvation. It seems that is his focus still, helping the ill recover.

He was made aware of our work at Hep C Help several months ago and I decide to contact him on behalf of our group to see if he would help us and he was more than happy to help. The only thing he asks is that we only use this to help the HCV+ or others who are chronically or terminally ill, and that we send him our testimomials, tell him our stories, how it effects us, etc.

So I just wanted folks to know that....its not like you could stock up your store, or sell it to cousin timmy so he can be a world champion weight lifter...or whatever. The retail is $49.99 regularly, and the cheapest now is at vitafac.com for $34.99, but that is a limited time sale price. I can't tell you have fortunate we feel to have his help, understanding the value of MAP to the hepatically challenged the way we do.

I just think the intention behind this gesture is important, and I want to honor Dr. Luca's intention, that's all.

MAP was a prescribed product in Europe, and is now available over the counter here. It is completely safe. I think the difference is some trust man to cure them and some trust god too, or allah or whoever. i put my trust in the goddess and what ever is left for me to do in this world.
