Guest guest
Hi Mo, I have been talking with my girlfriend and proprietor Dr. de Valle of www.mardejade.com about just the same thing with a similar but slightly different emphasis of focus; more HCV, some detox, yoga, meditation, vegetarian food preparation training, etc. Mar de Jade is beautiful and one of two spokes that the local Huichol Indians used to revere. This page has some info on them: “The Healers”. http://www.webspawner.com/users/BlueDeer/ There are ancient petroglyphs on the property that are so cool; at least 2,000 years old! We both have HCV. is an MD and runs a clinic for the local people off of the income from Mar De Jade. I create the formulas for www.liverfriend.com. We both have recently completed the Hepatitis C Professional Certification Course by Misha Cohen, G. Gish, MD, Medical Director, California Pacific Medical Center Liver Transplant Program, UCSF Faculty and Lyn , NMD Naturopathic Physician, Hepatitis C Caring Ambassadors Program .. The course consisted of: Epidemiology, Natural History and Transmission Programs for Self-Care Nutritional Support Qi Gong/Exercise Comprehensive Western and Chinese Medical Treatment Programs Grand Rounds with Clients If you like I will put you on the mailing list to announce when this particular retreat will be available. In any event, best of luck to you for your goals. Para tu Salud! Jay Wentworth Emmons jay@... [ ] Health Centers Hi All, Would anyone know of a health center or a SPA in the US or Europe, I'd like to treat myself for 10-14 days in a healthy environment to detox, loose some weight 4-5 kilos (10-12 pounds), and if possible get an update on my HCV situation but not necessarily. I've been diagnosed with HCV in 1994 but asymptomatic as yet, I'm now 45 and feel OK. Thanks Mo _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus

Guest guest
" WE " will never run out of money to pay for everyone's healthcare. It's simply not possible. I grew up in poverty and I now have nothing to buy. I have everything I need. I pay my taxes as always, without comploaint and I can't imagine that amount ever paid for a child's sore throat much less a heart operation or a war. I am not " obligated " to help my neighbors but I do happily because I have nothing much else to do except listen to this crap. BTW, when I was living on MY chickens in MY pen cared for by ME, I was feeding an impoverished family with 8 children who were stealing my eggs and chickens. I didn't, like it, I didn't think it was " right " , but it happened. Today I would do the same because I CAN help my neighbor and I take pride that I CAN. And I can't understand the concept of " owning " property that really belongs to the gov't because they tax it at 3% each year. Regards. RE: Health centers a, I grew up in a 8x40' trailer house. My father was deaf and crippled from a coal mine cave-in. Please don't make any assumptions about what money means to me. I have educated five children and worked my butt off to do it. While you may have been vacationing with your family, I was cleaning toilets in a rental. We never had a vacation. I took every bit of money I could scrape up and bought fix-up real estate. Still, we drive 17 and 23 year old cars. Because I was frugal and worked hard, somehow I am supposed to be paying for the expenses of others? Who says? Everyone wants their sore throats paid for but sooner or later, we will run out of people to pay for them. Just because medicine becomes totally controlled through these " qualifying " plans doesn't mean it is going to somehow become magically free. It is going to cost dearly. There is a reason Pelosicare is being called a trillion-dollar plan. My single daughter is certainly not ready for a $5,300 premium when she is now paying $1,812. I think its funny that they're going to tax medical equipment (heavily used by those on Medicare) and then take the tax receipts and pay the increased Medicare costs. Smoke and mirrors. Who says the poor are getting poorer? The poor continue to move upward. If you count transfer payments (housing, medical care, food stamps, etc.,) there are few " poor " people in this country. How many homes are there without color TVs? Without cable? How many poor people have cell phones? There has never been a wealthier, more successful country in the history of the world. So, it's the CPT codes that are owned by AMA and used by insurance companies? I will continue to look for the article I was trying to remember. And I'm off mine, too Val
