Guest guest
Hi Mimi, Sorry I'm late in responding - I was away on a camping/hiking trip near Santa Barbara for 4 days. So... welcome. I am a 1b and currently on Peg/Riba treatment and 42 years of age. I have taken 45 shots so far with 3 more to go. I cleared the virus on this treatment within 12 weeks of starting treatment and normalized my liver enzymes within 2 weeks. Prior to starting tx AST was 150 and ALT was 256. After 2 weeks they were 18/22 respectively. I've been lucky. I've had minimal sides, have carried a heavy load at work as well as worked long hours and traveled for my job. In addition to the Peg Combo, I take a multi-vitamin without Iron, Vitamin E, Calcium/Magnesum, Selenium and Milk Thistle. I've managed to stay away from most all other prescribed & OTC medications while on treatment. Things working in my favor (I believe), is that I haven't been infected very long (about 3 years) and was in pretty good health when I started. I will keep posting on my progress here post treatment. I also gather information from various places on the net and try to post articles/studies, etc. relating to Hep C as I come across them. Take care, Grace > Hello everyone! I have been living with HepC for 30 years (genotype > 1b), I never did conventional treatment - I am thinking about it as I > have tried Dr-Zhant's protocols and they did not work for me.
