Yes, I have been using alternative treatment options since February,

2001..and my viral load is down, and my liver tests are all normal..I go to

acupuncturist weekly, and see a Chinese Medical Doctor who prescribes a

series of herbs, which I take three times per day. i also, use Royal Body

Care, Microhydrin (antioxidents), Vit. E, Thymate a thymus supplement, and

numerous vitamin supplements...I feel better than i have in years, haven't

drank in a long time, but used to have a history..20+ years ago..I am really

glad I have opted not to use the standard treatments as everyone I know who

uses them ends up worse off..with lots of additional problems..Hope this

helps, but medical care is a very personal choice and I do not wish to

influence, this is just what I have chosen to do about my HCV..monte

I've been doing it for about a year but I've never been tested so I can't

tell you how it's affected me. I'm taking just in case I'm sicker than I

think. I've taken all sorts of things, been on all sort of diets, have

consumed alcohol and have abstained. While I'm currently living a pretty

clean life and supposedly taking all the right supplements, I never feel any

difference one way or the other. How's that for an endorsement?

I just wanted to say that I am one who used standard treatment in

1998 and I am NOT worse off, I am better. The year long treatment got

rid of all fibrosis, and I have more energy and feel much better than

before treatment, better than before I even knew I had HCV - even

though I am a non-responder. I still have HCV, and do have some

symptoms from that. The only problem I have now that I did not have

before treatment is hypothyroidism, but my thyroid hormones were

already abnormal before I started, and with a family history of my

great-grandmother and grandmother having hypothyroidism it was

happening anyway. I feel like my year of treatment bought me some

time. I don't regret that year at all.

wish you well, health, and happy! Peace, Monte

Thats great, I always get a shot of hope when i hear of someone succeeding

in this battle. The dragon is mean, but a little conservative treatment will

slow him/her down, which will allow our bodies to begin to heal. recently, I

have added another antioxidant, called Ohycotene, now I am taking

microhydrin, CoEnzyme Q-10, and phycotene..which seems to be much stronger,

i feel great, and actually get up rested after really sleeping..not passing

out for 18 hours. Stay well, Monte

I am doing the same type of alternative as you Monte and can definitely say

I feel good. Viral load lower and LFTs excellent.

dana, both of these are anti-oxidents, which remove free radicals and help

strengthen your body at the cellular level, they both help with immune

system strengthing..you may read all about them at

http://www.alternativehopeforhepc.com These products are sold by Royal Body

Care, which may be found at http://www.RoyalBodyCare.com This is a

multi-level marketing company, and joining is expensive..but, you may

purchase the products alone, without getting involved if you desire. i did

and later became a distributor to obtain the discounts, which I pass on to

others with HCV..let me know if I can help...monte wilson

Can anyone tell me where you can find microhydrin and phycotene? What are

the benefits of these?
