Guest guest
Chaparral can cause hepatitis, and has been implicated in more than one death from liver failure. It should be avoided, especially by anyone with a preexisting liver disease. --- Moe <bbdarling@...> wrote: > Symptoms of a yang liver condition (contracted): > Dizziness > Insomnia > Headaches > Nosebleed > Red eyes > Cataracts > Aversion to heat > Irritability > Impaired Hearing > Farsightedness > > Yin herbs to balance a yang liver condition: > Sage > Chaparral > Wild yam > Oregon Grape root > Echinacea root > > Symptoms of a yin liver condition (expanded): > Nausea > Poor appetite > Depression > Apprehension > Nearsightedness > > Yang herbs to balance a yin liver condition: > Watercress > Nettle > Licorice > Garlic > Slippery elm > Marshmallow > > Used in small quantities, these herbs and foods discharge toxins > from the > liver and gallbladder: > (teas are the best way to use these commonly found herbs) > Burdock > Dandelion > Golden Seal > Holy thistle > Raspberry leaf > Radishes > Potatoes > Lettuce > Mushrooms > > Mental signs of a healthy liver and gall bladder: > Good decisions and ability to make plans > Confidence to achieve success > Agreeable personality and disposition > > Source: Healthsource, by Lewanski and Zuraw, 1982, > pp 105 > __________________________________________________

I've been doing it for about a year but I've never been tested so I can't tell you how it's affected me. I'm taking just in case I'm sicker than I think. I've taken all sorts of things, been on all sort of diets, have consumed alcohol and have abstained. While I'm currently living a pretty clean life and supposedly taking all the right supplements, I never feel any difference one way or the other. How's that for an endorsement?
