Hi Rick, doesn't get me down, he's just a nuisance! I'm doing great, thanks for asking! My viral load is down to 41,000 and counting down! I don't know what stage I was ever at, because I never had a biopsy. All I know is I'm drummin', dancin', and feelin' great these days! My genotype is 4a, kind of rare in the US--(how'd I get that genotype??)...I can't wait for my next set of bloodwork--I'm going undetectable, I just know it! and how are you, Rick??? In health, Satya

Satya, how did they know your genotype without a biop. i think they number

it by the length of time you've had it. I'm pretty sure i was at the end

of the 1973 viet era vet vaccine experiment so that would make my disease 30

years old so they say 1b.

Does anyone else have trouble with the seams in their clothes irratating

their skin? love carol

Carol:

Genotype is found in the blood work you have done.

Hi Carol, I just asked my doc to test for my genotype and he added it in with the rest of the normally performed tests (liver profile done every 3 months; viral load every 6 months or less)--so I believe it was just done by drawing blood.....myself, I am not sure how I got the virus......love, Satya
