Guest guest
Hi Moe, I wish I was not so brain-dead at the moment, your message had some really interesting points, but I've just spent the last 4+ days in the hospital with my grandmother. We always hear doctors say not to eat too much salt, but my grandmother keeps turning up deficient in sodium and cloride levels, and she gets totally irrational and disoriented (halucinations and all!) when her sodium level drops. She also had a UTI. Either someone had to stay with her, or they were going to have to put her in restraints to keep her in bed, keep her from pulling her IV and Foley out, etc. So in addition to feeling like I'm in a fog, I had almost 200 emails and a warning from that my mail box was almost over it's limit so I'm having to rush through everything! So I'll just say that I really do agree with what I think you are saying (I say THINK because if you asked me the date today I'm not sure I'd know the answer, lol.) I do believe a person should always consider their WHOLE person - body and mind. The two cannot be separated. Each are powerful, and each can effect the other. As for which comes first - who really knows? I think maybe there is no ONE answer. Each person and each situation could be entirely different. And.... I've lost my train of thought! Maybe this is for another day. I hope everyone here is doing ok. I feel like I've been 'gone' for a year!
