I went in Monday for a consultation for my upcoming biopsy...when

going over the meds and supplements I'm on (Armour thyroid was listed

first and with the prescription meds followed by the listing of

supplements), the nurse asked me, " What is Armour thyroid? Is that a

supplement? " This isn't the first time I've had 'medical

professionals' ask me questions like this. If medical 'professionals'

aren't even aware of Armour thyroid, or any dessicated thyroid

replacement product for that matter, then why should we assume that

'patients' should be any more aware?

....

> I suspect Armour would work better for more people but they simply

don't know it is even an option.
