Hi Carol K.....just want to say I agree with everything you have said. Bert

has given so much to this group and I have posted her privately. As you know

my post may have been misread by some people that I was disapproving of

Bert, I was not......I became upset because Bert was obviously devastingly

upset and it shouldnt have happened. Again there are messages about herbs,

and theres no reason that there shouldnt be, if a persons body is able to

ingest all the different substances. In my case, boring.....I was ill and

clutched at the beneficial properties of herbs & potions because I was

frightened of taking prednisone. Some of you will recall that I nearly

killed myself in my ignorance...my liver was in a too sorry state to handle

it. So having my experience behind me, I will never be able to condone any

use of herbal remedy to replace conventional medicine. Most others here may

only have mild AIH with no longterm damage, who knows, herbs may be of

benefit....but in my case they were not. This is my last word as well on the

subject. Carol K I think you have 'balls' to stick up for our dear funloving

friend.
