Guest guest
I am requesting that in the future if anyone has an issue with another member to please e-mail me separately....no bashing in the Digest is allowed.. We are all sick and have our bad days as well as our good days. ...you never know if the person that sent something that irritates you has been going thru a few bad few days.and that by writing letters of complaint to them >>>in the Digest>>>> You could very well be pushing them to their limit. It is also not acceptable to send personal email to another in group that is not friendly in nature. Often those are the very days that a person is in need of support not bashing. Please remember we are a support group for a reason to SUPPORT others, and to just be here for all. Now....Everyone give a big group hug to all.... ; )) Joanne ( Owner and Moderator)
Guest guest
Amen . This was probably in the making for quite some time. This is also a very good reason for everyone to get 2 processors. An option I sure cannot afford. *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* Don't walk ahead of me, I might not follow. --Don't walk behind me, I might not lead. --Just walk beside me, and be my friend. --Albert Camus & Dreamer Doll ke7nwn E-mail- rclark0276@... Guest guest
, The only time I failed to return a processor to Cochlear was when I accidentally forgot one of them was sitting on my dining room table. It had been sitting there for week in the envelope Cochlear mailed me yet I completely forgot it was there. I'm now more careful about this and bring processors that need repair to my audi who will mail them to Cochlear for me.
Guest guest
The other side of this story is Cochlear didn't send you an envelope to return the item that was replaced, and expected you to pay for the shipping and insurance YOURSELF. I had to return/exchange a controller. This is a $5,000 piece of equipment. No return envelope. When I called Cochlear, they told me they were " out of them " so just send it back, insured, etc. I asked for their Fed-Ex number and sent it back that way with Cochlear paying the postage. But pretty cheap of them to NOT send a return envelope when they want something back. Do you know a new Cochlear policy took effect yesterday? For example, I have bilateral CIs. If I need to send one back to Cochlear for repair, they will send me an envelope to send the CI to them. Then they will try & return that CI within 96 hours. They are no longer sending temporary CIs, so this meand relying on the other CI & /or back up 3G/Body unit. The reason for no longer sending temporary CIs is because users were not returning them to Cochlear upon receiving their repaired CI. Shame on those folks who made this more difficult on those who did return the temporary CI. ____________________________________________________________ Injured in a car or at work?
