Guest guest
Hello everyone! I am a new member to this group. Recently, during my annual check up, my doctor told me that I may have Autoimmue hepatitis because my AST is higher than normal. He asked me to do more blood test to test ANA. The ANA test result is positive (1-80) weekly position at first time, then one month later, the ANA is (1-160). I am asked to do two more ANA test within next two months. However, my AST result is backing to normal in my last test. I have also did Ultrasound and they did not find any big problem in my liver. Lately, I have read several articles about the Autoimmue Hepatitis and looks like the only way to get the firm answer is to do biopsy. Is there any risks to do it? Also, if I have Autoimmue hepatitis, does that means I have to under medication for rest of my life? Since I am new, I don't have enough knowledge about this problem. If you can share your information and experience, it will be greatly appreciated! Vivian
Guest guest
Hi , My name is Agate, I am also new to this site but we seem to have a lot in common. To tackle the candida, have you had a look at Dr. Hulda 's zapper? You can buy it, or build your own, diagrams and instructions are in her book. The theory is that all creatures have theiri resonant frequency, and the right one will pop a, virus,a funghi, parasite or bacterium. Sometimes the candida is inside a parasite, amd the parasite needs popping before you can get to the funghi. I am getting better, but very slowly. And being happy, counting your Blessings, is very helpful in recovery. thyroid treatment From: lamberth40@...Date: Thu, 24 Jan 2008 20:23:50 +0000Subject: Hello and help My name is and I am sorry that I have not introduced myself before now but this computer stuff is all very new to me!I was diagnosed with CFS 5 years ago, after years of being unwell, and have steadily become more unwell since.Last July I discovered Dr P and he has been trying to help me ever since. I have problems with candida, adrenals and thyroid. After seeing Dr P my husband and myself were so excited at the prospect of starting to feel better because we don't have any sort of life at the moment. There has not been any change at all yet and I am currently taking Cortef (which seems to have messed up my emotions big time) and Cytomel for the last couple of weeks. I also took Fluconazole for 4 weeks and a strict diet for 4 months but my candida is much worse. DR P has offered me the best hope for a long time but I didn't realise how complicated it all is and now I feel very low thinking I will never get better. Thanks for all the information you are providing and the opportunity to share my thoughts and feelings with people who (hopefully) understand where I am coming from. Hopefully I will be back soon with something more positive but if anyone feels like giving me a 'pep talk' to be going on with it would be much appreciated right now. Guest guest
Hi , I am sorry to learn that you are not getting better with the regime Dr Peatfield recommended. Sometimes, you have to go back and re-examine the protocol you decided to follow and see if there is something you haven't done, like raising your doses when necessary , or staying on a particular treatment for the time it actually takes to put you right. Some people expect things to get back OK after a few weeks, when often, it can take a few molnths and occasionally a couple of years. If you have been ill for a long time, the stress has dire consequences on your adrenals and the candida can wreak havoc. Both have to be tackled vigorously. Can you tell us what amount of cortef you are taking, how many times a day you take it and how you built up that that particular dose - what dose did you start with and how long you have been taking it? Can you also tell us what dose you started Cytomel and what dose you are taking now, and again, do you split your dose throughout the day or take it all at once in the morning. It is very important that we know these answers. Have you any recent thyroid function tests and if so, can you post the results here, together with the reference ranges for each one. If you have not had one done for a while, can you ask your GP to test you. At the same time, it would be good to know what your ferritin (stored iron) level is, because if this is low, the medications you are taking with have no effect on you whatsoever until you get your iron boosted. It is very complicated to start with, mainly because doctors have no idea about the adrenal/candida/low ferritin/thyroid connection and therefore, it is up to the poor patient to sort this themselves. It can be done, and it has been done, and with a bit more patients, you will get there. Hard to do - easy to say, so you have our sympathy Once we get these answers from you, we will have a better understanding of what might be going wrong. Keep your chin up , there is an answer to everything if we look hard enough. Guest guest
Hi Agate Tell ous more about this "Zapper" - we have another member who is a great believer in this sort of thing (Marie H - where are you) and actually swears by this. What did you actually have to do to get yourself on the road to recovery? If something works, we need to know what it is and how it works. Guest guest
Hi Agate Just following on from your message about the zapper proving effective, something that works really well for me is dowsing with a crystal. I must admit I was very sceptical at first but have to admit that if you are a sensitive soul like me, it can be a godsend to check whether something is good or bad for you, and also the quantity of tablets etc you need to take at any one time. Being absolutely honest, it doesn't work for everyone, but I would be lost without it, and no I am not a new age hippy - far from it! ha ha. I will be happy to show you and any other interested people at Shelia's 'get together' in March as you really need to show somebody face to face initially so they can see the principle behind it. Guest guest
Absolutely not, it is just one of those things that ideally you need to physically see to make sense of things and from what I have learned over the course of time, everyone reacts in a different way, some not at all!, so there is not really a hard and fast rule in the same way that in the case of zapping there would be. (It really plays on a persons sensitivity frequencies, nothing more, nothing less, hope this makes sense?.) Luv Marie Re: Hello and help I take it that if anyone is interested there will be no charging for this, or any hard selling. Lilian I will be happy to show you and any other interested people at Shelia's 'get together' in March as you really need to show somebody face to face initially so they can see the principle behind it. Guest guest
I too have a zapper. I would warn everyone that if you use one then there will probably be a herxmeimer reaction at first - i.e. you may feel very very much worse, before you feel better - think of it at a sort of flu. This all ties in with the parasite cleanse, and also kidney, liver cleanses, also bowel cleanse which I am due to start soon again. The herx is caused by die-off of nasties, and is really just a cleansing reaction. I have complete faith in Doctor Peatfield and what he says makes sense. I have followed all his instructions since seeing him in July last year, I realise that the treatment will take time but having had treatment for six months I had hoped that by now, I would notice some change or improvement. > > Can you tell us what amount of cortef you are taking, how many times a > day you take it and how you built up that that particular dose - what > dose did you start with and how long you have been taking it? Can you I started Cortef on 1st December with 2 x half a tablet, increasing over the month to 4 tablets by 31st December and 5 from 21st January. I take 10 mg at breakfast, 10 mg at lunchtime and 5 mg at teatime as per Dr P instructions. > also tell us what dose you started Cytomel and what dose you are taking > now, and again, do you split your dose throughout the day or take it all > at once in the morning. It is very important that we know these answers. > I started the Cytomel on 13th January - half a tablet and increased to 2 x half a tablet from 21st january and increased again on 28th January to 1 at brakfast and half at lunch. I previousy took Armour from 1st November to 6th January. > Have you any recent thyroid function tests and if so, can you post the > results here, together with the reference ranges for each one. If you > have not had one done for a while, can you ask your GP to test you. My last blood test was 11th October, my TSH level was 0.79 (Ref range 0.35 - 3.50) and my T4 level was 14.00 (Ref range 8.00 - 21.00) > the same time, it would be good to know what your ferritin (stored iron) > level is, because if this is low, the medications you are taking with > have no effect on you whatsoever until you get your iron boosted. > On the same date my ferritin level was 55 (this is after taking an iron tablet every day for two years). My GP said all my test results were fine and there was nothing more she could do. At the momentI have a real problem with swollen and painful knees and elbows, trembling hands and generally feeling wobbly on top of my normal CFS symptoms. Any advice I can get would be very much appreciated.
