12 days later - the nurse called

It's a miracle! I post a message, and the nurse calls my house and

leaves a message. Gee, you would think they would call my work

number - go figure! Maybe she reads my posts and decided it was best

to call and talk to a machine! HA! Just my luck, as they say, no news

is good news, then you get the call. My levels are not going down

and they want me to stay on the same dose of meds for another two

weeks. She said that she would MAIL my results on Monday. Thanks

for the suggestion of being more assertive. I really need to be - in

my profession I always consider the person (usually a parent of a kid

in trouble) first, then the problem. Guess I need to rethink that

when it comes to me. She did make an appointment for me with a

dietician as I am SO concerned with weight gain and I have TERRIBLE

indigestion (even when I just think about food). Thanks again for

your suggestions - I am still considering a new doctor, if they would

ever call me back!
