Hi , They don't use Neupogen in leukemic type diseases because is stimulates the bone marrow to increase the production of white blood cells. In leukemic diseases this can also lead to an overproduction of the bad cells called blasts. You don't want to do anything that could lead to an over stimulated bone marrow in any type of blood related cancer. (My son had a brain tumor and we have many friends that have children who have leukemia - only reason I know). Hope this helps.
