Guest guest
Amy Thanks for the info.. I will talk to the immunologist if she ever starts to have problems with the port. When I brought up the idea of sub q, she freaked out. She saw Lacey doing it at the IDF conference, but she didn't think she could do it. She still has a hard time with the diagnosis. It has been just over a year, and she still gets anxious and asks tons of questions. I am hoping we get to a point where she is more comfortable with things as they are, not the way she wishes them to be. She will get there. Thanks again, L Mom to Ashton 11 CVID, Asthma, Dyslexia & Marina 9 Asthma

Guest guest
It's great to have some seaweed on a regular basis, but you don't want to overdo it, you can OD on the iodine. I'm not sure how much is too much. That's a good question! How much is too much,, anyone know ??! that salad sounds good !!

Guest guest
I think that would vary with the individual and how well their body absorbs Iodine. someone who runs borderline all the time even using iodized salt or seaweed could use much more than someone whose thyroid show to be normal all the time. I've hunted through the research a lot and ALL the warning stories come from research using a non-natural source of iodine. Not one comes from a natural source where the minerals are balanced as in seaweed. So I eat seaweed all I wish. So far the only side effect has been that I got healthier. Maybe someone else can find real research on *seaweed* as opposed to research on iodine. .....Irene -- Irene de Villiers, B.Sc AASCA MCSSA D.I.Hom.
