Well, you have certainly made a difference in my world!! When I was first dx'd with AIH I was scared to death!! The words "hepatitis", "cirrhosis", "ascites", "portal hypertension" were not anything that I was familiar with at all. I went on a search for information, I was starving for it, and came upon this wonderful group. You were one of the first members to welcome me, and as always, suggested I buy Palmers book (which I did). This in itself has been a constant source of information for me and my family. You are always there with a kind word of encouragement, scolding when necessary, and always extremely helpful in providing links to web sites that provide information. Don't sell yourself short, I'm sure there are many out there that share my feelings. (For someone who doesn't post often, I kind of made up for it on this one!!) I feel I haven't done much, haven't made any difference to the world, but I certainly have had some good times! Every day has some joy to it. When my daughter was small, at bedtime we'd choose "the best thing that happened today." On the grimmer days, I still do that, and there's always something wonderful.
