As I have said before I was just dx with AIH in September and was pretty much asymptomatic (found very high liver enzymes accidentally) and then I went on the meds. When they lowered my pred from 40 to 30 and started me on Imuran (2 weeks ago) I started having pains shoot down my arms, legs, and hands. That seems to have subsided but the past 2 days AND this is where I am getting really panicky, I have had terrible chest soreness and this morning it is going up into my shoulders and neck. It is especially bad when I breath. ( Good thing that doesn't happen too often! HA!!) Could I have maybe a cold in my muscles, has anyone else experienced this? It really has me worried. I called my doc yesterday and he seemed to act like it wasn't from any meds and since I don't have a fever and all that good stuff I didn't get the impression he was worried. He did say if it keeps up he will do a chest x-ray. Any info will help.
