Guest guest
doesnt this contradict what is said in the coffe enema instructions since the anus is just one portion of the rectum? this is what the coffee enema says " The coffee is absorbed into the hemorrhoidal vein (in the anus), and then it is taken up to the liver by the portal vein. " but the quote below says that the blood that leaves the rectum does not go to the liver. im so confused > > " since the rectum is not designed to store waste, the blood > that leaves this organ does not go into the liver; thus toxins enter > the blood stream and are carried to other organs, including the head, > heart and lungs "
Guest guest
Johanna, the anus is not the rectum, even though it does connect. Guest guest
ok, that makes sense but doesnt that mean, then, that the caffeine from a coffee enema will go both to the liver AND other organs as the quote from lara says that what is absorbed in the rectum does not go to the liver first. i ask this because i just doesnt seem possible to do a 2 cup coffee enema and just keep it in the two inch area of the anus with out it going into the rectum as well. > > > > > > " since the rectum is not designed to store waste, the blood > > > that leaves this organ does not go into the liver; thus toxins > enter > > > the blood stream and are carried to other organs, including the > head, > > > heart and lungs " > > >

You do not have to keep the coffee in the 2 inch area of the anus for it to go to the liver. I've done many coffee enemas and the relief I felt afterwards was wonderful, so it was doing a good job. Also my liver would hurt less, so it was working. Bee
Guest guest
Bee, I'm glad it worked for you, but it has not had the same effect on me. I looked it up and other people had negative reactions to it in past post too. Considering the way you have mentioned how absoprtion works in that area, since caeffine is most likely going to other parts of our body and not JUST the liver, shouldn't we all avoided it, since we should be avoiding caffeine? Isn't it possible that at least some of uplift people get from it is from the stimulator effect of the caffeine on other parts of the body and not JUST from it effect on the liver? The most important difference between a saline enema and a coffee enema is the presence of caffeine in the coffee. Caffeine, theophylline and theobromine, combine to stimulate the relaxation of smooth muscles causing dilation (opening up) of blood vessels and bile ducts. The effects of having a coffee enema are not the same as drinking coffee. The veins of the anus are very close to the surface of the tissue. The caffeine is therefore absorbed more quickly (and in higher concentration) than it is in when coffee is drunk. Additionally, coffee has a chemical makeup that is stimulative. The enzymes in coffee, known as palmitates, help the liver carry away the toxins in bile acid. The coffee is absorbed into the hemorrhoidal vein (in the anus), and then it is taken up to the liver by the portal vein. With the bile ducts dilated, bile carries toxins away to the gastro- intestinal tract. Simultaneously, peristaltic activity (movement of the bowel) is encouraged because of the flooding of the lower colon. Thus, when the colon is evacuated, the toxins and bile are carried out of the body. The caffeine from the coffee is absorbed into this circulatory system and goes directly to the liver where it acts as a very strong detoxifier. It decongests the liver, and causes it to dump its toxins. It causes the liver to produce more bile (which contains processed toxins) and stimulates the gall bladder to dump its contents which flows directly into the small intestine for elimination. This frees up the liver, enabling it to process toxins more efficiently, particularly candida toxins and those caused by killing off candida. The coffee only goes to the liver, and does not circulate throughout the body so it does not act like drinking caffeine would. Caffeine also stimulates an enzyme used by the liver to make its detoxification pathways run. This enzyme is used to form glutathione (an amino acid), which is one of the main components that enable toxins to be eliminated via the bile into the small intestine. Therefore a coffee enema speeds up detoxification and minimizes the backlog of detoxified substances. " Bee P.S. Jo, I suggest you search my website and read articles related to question you may have. Thanks a bunch!
Guest guest
Dear All This discussion got me thinking about my experience. I don't know anything about anemas and have not yet done one. However, when I put two garlic cloves in the vagina I taste it in my mouth half an hour later. And it is correct that many drugs are given as suppositories. I wonder if we should do more research on body cavities and its absoroption capacity. Regards, Perihan > > Bee, I'm glad it worked for you, but it has not had the same effect on > me. Yes body cavities are great for absorption, and so is the skin. A book I have called The Home Doctor, written around 1940 recommends rubbing 1 tablespoon of cod liver oil on the belly of anyone who is sick, or a child. Also ascorbic acid in water through the nose increases absorption 1,000 times than by mouth. I advise that garlic be rubbed into the feet of children or babies, and so on! Garlic, like many herbs and spices, have a lot of heat, but they do not actually burn the skin. It isn't the kind of heat that burns or damages the skin.
