Bloody Nose

I am 4 days away from my surgery. I have been rigidly following the

diet, having Pau d'Arco tea with cloves twice a day, eating garlic

with at least one meal a day, and have upped my coconut oil to nearly

3 tsp. (record for me). I started taking Niacin too (no flushing

here). My concern is to stay healthy before and after my surgery.

But, in the last week the following things have been happening:

1. Bloody nose. Pretty much non-stop. When I was a little kid I

used to get really bad bloody noses that could go on for days. When

I was a preteen I had a bloody nose that lasted months. As an adult

I would get them but not with the frequency that I had when I was

younger. Until last week. Every time I get up I get a head rush and

my nose will start to bleed. Or if I bend over, or blow my nose, or

go out into the cold... you get the picture. I do not know what to

do about it. The doc was already concerned about blood loss during

the surgery.

2. I started getting diarrhea. If I don't take the full magnesium

and digestive aids I will go straight to constipation. There hasn't

been anything in between for almost two weeks now. Should I be

concerned?

Also, told doc that I would not be taking anti-biotics. He fought a

bit but agreed to my terms. He did ask if I wanted pain killers. I

wasn't sure so I took the prescription. Will those cause a problem

with candida? I heard it can be pretty a pretty painful recovery and

would probably take them if I could.
