Hi! It's been awhile since I wrote in. was diagnosed a year

ago this month. The doctor just started to reduce her prednisolone

a small amount at a time. We just got the blood results and it

is 51/69. Last month it was 62/62. I am thinking this is where

her levels are going to stay. They raised the Imuran to 1.3 mls.

They said her white count was slightly lower than normal. Does

the Imuran do that to the white count? I thought it raised it.

One other thing I'd like to mention. . . When I was pregnant

with , I experienced severe itching of my legs. The

doctor ran a blood test to see if my liver function levels

were raised. He said if it is, it is a temporary condition

that some pregnant women get. The results show a slight raise

in levels but not enough to be put on medication. The week

after I had the severe itching stopped. Then 3 years

later, is diagnosed with AIH. I just wonder if it all

ties in together. I am now pregnant with my third baby (due in

March) and I don't seem to be getting severe itching nor did I

have it with my oldest. My husband and I have decided to bank

the blood cord of this baby. Maybe someday it can help .

I'll do anything to keep her healthy! Oh well, just wanted to

write and let everyone know how it's been going.

O ...I am so very sorry about . But what an excellent idea to save the cord of this new child! Wow! What a blessing that could play later on!
