It is just so hard like Jerry said since they can't really communicate with us. Yet they are always there for us. I have two of my own. One is an American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and the other a Miniature Eskimo/Pomeranian. I love them like they are my children. We had a Lab before them, and lost him to an unfortunate antifreeze poisoning. It was horrible, he never did anything to deserve dieing like that. They are such innocents, and I beleive we are very fortunate for being able to experience them in our lives. Just as we are our childen. And they both seem to teach us so much. I hope you baby is feeling better soon. Don't despair, I have had to give my dogs shots in the past, it is quite easy. I hope you too are feeling well.
