I´m a mother of a 10-year-old-boy with AIH.Maybe someone can remember us.It´s been a long time since I lost contact with you all.I was always here asking to contact people whose children had AIH like mine. He was dx when he was almost 5.He had his second biopsy and his liver inflamation is gone.His doc had put him in an associated theraphy of pred and azathioprine and after this second biopsy, She thought he could be only in aza. I hope and pary things turn out all fine with him.I don´t know what will happen from now on.I confess I get scared sometimes.He´s an excellent student in school.His scores are always high and when he says he´s too tired and needs to sleep more, I try to be understandable and allow him to be absent.Am I doing the right thing? What do you think? He´s a very active boy.He plays football and he´s always busy with his school activities.This is why I am sure he´s being true when he reaches his limits and says he´d prefer to stay home that day.
