Guest guest
Done. I just caught up on several digests worth of messages and read about what's going on. I have a hard time talking on the phone w/two small kids underfoot, but can email as much as needed! Kayla Georgia >SAMPLE LETTER IF YOU ARE OPPOSED TO THIS PORTION OF THE BILL: >Dear President Bush, Vice-president Cheney, or Senator: >I'm strongly OPPOSED to a section of the bill passed by the House last >night, HR-5710, and would like you to oppose its inclusion in the >Senate's bill on Home Land Security before you sign it. >Please view HR-5710, Sections 1714-1716, pages 482-484 of the House >bill, where it gives vaccine manufacturers PROTECTION on the ingredients >in vaccines. >This is outrageous and offensive. It's already extremely difficult to >obtain compensation for a vaccine injury through the government's >current system. For individuals who have had adverse reactions/been >poisoned by thimerosal (mercury) and other toxins in vaccines you leave >no alternative for them in taking legal action. FDA/CDC have known >since 1972 about the dangers of the thimerosal ingredient in infant/childhood vaccines and in fact in 1992 it was eliminated from pet vaccines. No safety studies have been done on thimerosal. If you review a list of the symptoms of mercury poisoning and autism, you will see they mirror each other and this country has an exploding epidemic of autism today. Teaching/educating these children is costing billions. Injured children in this country need your help and the government should stop protecting vaccine manufacturers who fail to produce safe vaccines. If every child counts, please consider what ramifications of Sections 1714-1716, pages 482-484 of the bill will do. I'm counting on you to do the right thing. Please, delete the sections above from the final bill you sign. In kindest regards, Your name Your Constituent from CITY, STATE

When I first started on higher doses of Prednisone I had the same problem Rhonda... I also had it when I was late stages of cirrhosis but there was a difference I can't explain....I don't know how far your liver disease has progressed but usually encephalopathy is accompanied by the other complications of portal hypertension...i.e. ascites and varices. To this day I find my self groping for words and names but I think it may now be a by-product of aging . : ) love jerry Jerry, I have the Prednisone/Wayne State/Memory abstract in my files, if anyone wants it. Or, one can easily find a version of it by a Google entry with those terms. My "groping" is far more than extreme than would ordinarily have developed in two years. I'm cheered by the idea that Imuran might be the cause. I can live with the situation, as it is now. Harper
