Guest guest
Gill, Definitely tell your dr. about the urine. This can sometimes be a sign of increased bilirubin or it can be a sign of infection. You should probably have a urinalysis done. good tohear about the energy I sometimes get spurts and then am tired for days afterward. I blame it on the PREDNISONE. My DR says this is common with people with liver problems. good luck, AIH the hillbilly in w va
Guest guest
hi gill, I dont know why we cant have antacids but you can take losec for your indigestion, your doctor will have to write you a script though. I know where you are coming from energy wise I have good days and bad. I dont know why this happens. I know it happens more as you are weaning off of prednisolone. I have had very yellow urine ever since I have had AIH I have read that that is also part of it. some one else will probably know more than me though. I have only had this for two years, and I am just starting to learn about it. Cheryl form down under. [ ] on the lookout for info please Hi everyone,I hope we are all keeping okay and thanks to all ofyou who replied to my twitchy arms and legs post(still have the twitches and its driving me crazy). Anyway here come a couple of questions Id like tothrow your way - could anybody please tell me why wearent supposed to take ant-acid tablets whilst onImuran, I get awful indigestion but on my tablet packit tells you not to take ant-acids. My next question Icant quite believe I am asking this but if you lotcant help then who can -lol, here goes - a few daysago I actually fely energetic it was great and I evenrang my mum to tell her I had energy (how sad is that)and I cleaned through the house I was like awhirlwind, the energy was shortlived because the lastcouple of days Ive felt so tired again and Ive noticedthat when Im feeling tired and unwell with my liverthat my pee goes a very toxic yellow colour(embarrassed typing this) does this happen to any ofyou or am I just dropping to bits. Im asking you lotbecause I dont know whether to advise my doctor ornot. Well Ive waffled on long enough.Take care all of you GillAIH 99 __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi I can relate with you about having all the energy one day and nothing the next. The last time it happened to me I felt so good and I can remember telling my husband that it was a waste of time me taking all the medication because I didnt think I could feel any better than I did. Then I came down to earth the next day with a bump it was all I could do to get out of bed so much for all the plans that I was going to make it just gave me a false sence of securite.I think that when we do have a good day we forget for a short time that we are still ill and have to take things slowly. Now when I have a good day (which i havent for a long time) I just tell myself to enjoy it but know your limits. If you urine is going dark it can be that things are not going so well do you have any other symptoms ie itching or sickness. When this happens to me I phone my dr and he arranges a blood test, but before you do this check that you are drinking plenty of water because this can change the colour of the urine. Hope this has been some help. Best wishes Hugs Jeanette UK AIH dx 1998 Cirrhosis dx 2001I hope we are all keeping okay and thanks to all ofyou who replied to my twitchy arms and legs post(still have the twitches and its driving me crazy). Guest guest
Gill, Golden pee and more so whitish stools (talk about being gross) have a high liklihood that the bile is not being properly excreted. Yes tell your doctor! As for the antiacids there is some reaction, I don't recall but I think it has to do with magnisium... I don't recall. I do recall a medication I took one time that had that as a contraindication. I was addicted to rolaids & Tums for a period of time tell your Dr. He may prescrice something like prilosec. It really helps.
