They will give you Versed (if you beg) because it'll put you in a twilight as opposed to out cold but you are still able to breathe in deep, hold it and let go when they ask you to. This is why they will not put you under for liver biopsy. I've had 4. I've also gone to 8 hepatologists and all of them said there is no pain associated with liver.......only pressure (possibly) surrounding if enlarged. Of the eight 4 are in New York, 1 at Mayo and 3 in Texas. (with a bunch of Gastros added to those numbers!) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
