Guest guest
Amber, I love it!!! I just taught my husband rock, paper, scizzers last night. He asked why he would possibly need to know that and I told him to solve problems. If you don't have a coin to toss, you can do this instead. Besides it's more fun. I told him how I used to leg wrestle with my brother as kids and he would then roll me up in a blanket with my head sticking out so the dog could lick my face and I couldn't do anything but laugh and yell. I'm going to resign too!!! I'm done with being a grown up. It's not nearly as much fun as being a kid. I want to walk barefoot in the grass again and not worry about what kind of bugs are down there. I want to play in the sprinkler and not worry about what the neighbors will think. I want to know that at six o'clock dinner will always be ready no matter what, cause' mom will have it made. And not worry about what to wear cause' you're not supposed to match when you're little. Tag, you're it!!!!! Rhonda/TN > > > > > > > >I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. Guest guest
Rhonda, What a wonderful attitude to have. As long as you can play as much. Seek out what makes you happy. I have been playing as long as I can remember. I gave up worrying about what people think. And I still collect toys and I am 50 but feel younger and my face is staying younger because of it. I have long hair and dye it purple. I enjoy defying the normals of life. My family pesters to cut my hair, which I refuse. I was forced to look like a geek very young with ugly short hair frizzy. UGLY VERY VERY UGLY. I don't care if my hair is not the color or shortness I choose to take. Oh believe me staying child like and looking for fun will really be the reason you can get through being sick. Plus it is fun. I also volunteer for Donor Awareness. I love the fun things they provide us to tell our stories. gayle/trans.6-99 galye@... @` \I/
Guest guest
Rhonda & Gayle: I am also a child at heart. I am 52 and I collect stuffed animals and now I am starting to collect dolls. I had my hair about to the shoulders and one day I went and had it cut short and next time shorter. Well, now it very short and I love. The family don't but I do so who cares! Guest guest
Debby: My sister from Montana came home today and she took one look and me and said boy is your hair short. I told yes it is but it might get shorter. It is so easy to take care of this way. Also not so hot. Been a hot summer in Wisconsin. Guest guest
Debby: The funny thing about it was that my sister has had hair down past her shoulders and she got it cut short also but not as short as mine. She said she cut it because she got rid of her husband and she could now wear her hair the way she wanted. Sue/WI
Guest guest
Sue, I have cut my hair so short that I can actually spike it. I LOVE it! Really easy to comb (or not comb.....whichever looks better when I am ready to go out!) LOL debby/Calif Re: [ ] Re: Fwd: RESIGNATION Rhonda & Gayle:I am also a child at heart. Guest guest
Hello everyone... I am new to this group and will shortly write an introduction. I read this, however, and couldn't resist saying thank you to the author. It expressed my sentiments so exactly.
