Yesterday I woke up with a headache, upper backache, and calf pain. I have

had pain in those 3 areas before when I don't tolerate something. For

example this happened while I was using Stevia beginning of the year. It

finally occurred to me to cut it out and the pain in those 3 areas stopped.

And the same thing happened with gum, which of course I know is not good for

me.

After being up a while yesterday the backache and calf pain went away. I had

nothing but meat and veggie broth all day. By mid afternoon the headache was

worse and the back and calf pain was back. In the evening I had a can of

sardines in olive oil with some HCl and I took magnesium citrate before

going to bed. I also had some ascorbic acid and mixed a little baking soda

into it because I don't like the taste of it. This morning the headache is

worse than it's been in a long time and the backache and calf pain are worse

also. In addition, I have been waking up with swollen eye lids again the

last two days.

I expected to deal with die off on this diet but I can't do this every day.

It hurts so bad today I am tempted to take some aspirin because I don't know

how to make it through the day. I am volunteering at a nursing home today,

have a business meeting for our church, and have to work on a website and my

head feels like it's going to explode. I tried white willow bark yesterday

but it didn't help.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
