Guest guest
Hi Bee, What's your position on allergy shots? They're not exactly a vaccine, nor are they a medication. I searched for Allergy on your site, and read all the articles that came up. None of them talk specifically about immunotherapy. I've been getting allergy shots for the last year. I get them once a week. They are cumulative, so if I stop them, it'll put me back at ground zero. I know you say there are no allergies, but shellfish put me at risk for anaphylaxsis (3x in the emergency room in the last 10 years. Shellfish is so bad for me that walking past steaming shrimp is enough to make me sick). I'm also allergic to apples, wheat, dairy, sunflower anhd corn. Along with a TON of environmental allergies (dust mites, cats, horses, dander, mold, etc, etc) I'm not using any allergy medications (Epi-Pen, Benadryl, asthma puffer) , but I always have them on me in case of emergency. Anyway, what do you think about this? I'm guessing you're probably against allergyshots, but it's a huge leap of faith for me to stop taking them. /a
