Guest guest
I was wondering if I should take zinc as a supplement. I know it is a trace mineral that we don't need a lot of, but after reading the " beauty is only skin deep " file, it made me think. My hair tends to be very oily, before and during Bee's diet. Also I checked my nutritional profile on fitday, and I'm only getting about 50% of the RDA of zinc everyday even though I eat a good amount of red meat. This doesn't include all the celtic sea salt I use though. So I'm not sure if I should a zinc supplement, or if the celtic sea salt is supplying enough (I use about 1.5-2 tsp a day). Has anyone else run into this? Thanks so much

Also use a good natural shampoo and rinse your hair with vinegar (do not rinse out the vinegar; the smell goes quite quickly). Most candida sufferers' bodies are running on their sympathetic nervous system (the one that produces adrenaline), rather than their parasympathetic nervous system, which produces excessive hormones that increases the production of excessive oil, so doing deep breathing exercises a few times a day would be very helpful for you to do; do a site search on my website. Guest guest
zinc monomethionine is sometimes better tolerated or has better effects if you decide to drop picolinate maybe try that one instead? natasa Hello all, my son has intercellular zinc deficiency and have been supplementing with 15mg of zinc picolinate before bed. We have had the most hyper behaviour at bedtime that we have seen for a long time and I just attributed it to the light evenings and not wanting to go to sleep. Looking back in the diary though it does seem to link to when I began the zinc. Has anyone else seen this? I was recommended to give an extra dose in the morning too ? Thank you Belinda
