Guest guest
My name is , I am new to this group. My daughter, who is 14 years old, was diagnosis with a supratentorial ependymoma brain tumor 9 years ago. She has several of the symptoms of hypothyroidism and is a likely candidate since she was treated with head radiation in 1998. Her recent blood tests indicate her T3 and T4 are in the reference range but on the low end of the scale. Her TSH is 2.807. She has not had a period since August. Her endocrinologist says everything is normal. I strongly disagree. I understand that hypothyroidism is often misdiagnosed. Has anyone encountered this issue or have any suggestions? ,
