Guest guest
Debby, No, only one parent can have the same blood type, and that can also be of different RH factor. My father is O neg, my mother B pos, and I am O pos. Bro and sis are both B pos. Think this makes you bonkers look up the way eye color, hair color and baldness is passed on! My parents are/were both dark brown almost black wavy hair. Both dark brown eyes. I have straight light brown hair and blue eyes. My brother and sister both have the dark brown wavy hair and brown eyes - yet blue eyes are considered dominant - go figure. But then again AIH is supposed to be rare and yet my family seems to have one the lottery in it. I always knew my family was .....'weird'. ;0 From what our dear Cheryl has taught me, we as O type are like the same as blood transfusions in a tx. We can give to other types, but can only have our own. I am not sure how Rh factor factors in there - Jerry? It would be nice if they could prove we could have any blood type, since you have to take anti-rejection drugs anyway - but who wants to sign up for that experiment?! When I was in school the hardest course I took may have been genetics..it gets very confusing. size only matters if you let it... love jerry
