My name is Ginger and I was diagnosed with AIH in 1999. After two years on pred, I was able to go off and just take the imuran. All of a sudden my white blood cell count dropped really low. This was after three years on 100 mgs. imuran. I had a biopsy an April 10th and it affirmed that I am having a relapse and have had to go back on pred and reduce the imuran by half.
