Guest guest
Good Morning:) I just thought that I'd jump in here. I sent Jenna a long list of how I eat, I have IBS as well(about 12 years), If she did not get rid of it (my message) maybe she can forward it to you. I can reproduce most of it if not. The GI I have gone to for that and other things said that lactose intolerance very often goes along with IBS. I went off all dairy for several years (the odd time I used Lactaid) and substituted Soy (milk, no fat, and other Soy products) and now I seem to be able to eat some cheese and yogurt on a fairly regular basis as long as it is no or low fat. The afore mentioned Dr. said to try small amounts of dairy and only reintroduce one thing at a time. I still cannot have a glass of milk without paying dearly for a couple of days.
