Guest guest Posted December 14, 2001 Report Share Posted December 14, 2001 THANKS MONICA, ANN, AND YOU TOO DEBBY! I am felling better today, but now having a flare-up! ( i think!) Dr. put me on 50mg. of Vioxx (once a day to start) yesterday. My appt. for liver-biopsy is being sceduled on Monday. My liver enyzemes are higher than 2 wks ago(@ 71). BUT! not that high/now @ 80. I guess, from what the Gastro says, there is no reason to be concerned. But, my family Doc is. He's the one who is making the sceduled appt. for biopsy. He says, no one should be just walking around with elevated liver enyzemes! not even slightly! so I guess they will duke it out....LOL! I seem to be more concerned about the awful pain in my upper left side. under the breast (left) and directly behind. That whole area is getting so bad its unbearable! The Gastro and Family Doc. said thats either my Kidney, or my Spleen. Plus the Liver slightly goes over that way too. The Stomach and Pancreas is also over there. The Pancreas (just slightly too). I really am having a bad time. I try so hard to keep my chin up and stay positive, but its so hard these last 2 days or so! I really don't feel I have the right to vent yet, and maybe I really shouldn't be on this group at all! I really don't know for sure whats wrong with me! One Doc. says YES! I have AIH/CAH. The other Doc. (here) says, maybe? The Gastro said don't know! He even said me joining this group was too premature! But I feel so close to some of you already, I don't want to leave.....
