HI!!!! Sorry....I have just been travelling up and down the west coast for Christmas....well....I went to Idaho for Christmas. We flew into Portland and the Spokane and then drove to Coeurdlaine (sp) and had a wonderful time. My brother lives on the Spokane River.....ohhhh just glorious! We spent the week there. We just got back tonight!!!!! WHOOPEE!!!! The geese are there from Alaska we think...but didn't go out and ask them! Oh well.....but they would fly and squak all day and night....such a wonderful time.

Then, yesterday, on Saturday, we got to see the Bald Eagle in the wild. There is a place on the east side of the lake that the birds come to breed and die and fish! Ohhhh what a sight! I have NEVER seen such beauty. We saw them dive for fish, sitting in trees, flying freely....magnificant! I will NEVER get over seeing them in the natural state! My brother took us along the trees. I kept my head out the window looking up into the tree tops to find them.. We saw about 10-12 in all and that was just a few of the birds! My brother said they will be gone in about 6-8 weeks!

THEN, my hubby went fishing with my brother and nephew and my brother's friend at Priest Lake-they chartered a boat-and they caught HUGE trout! My brother's fish was at least 24pounds, and my hubby's fish was a little thing at 14 pounds! What a treat. BUt the charter guy said that when the fish get to be over 10 pounds, they are not really good. The one my brother caught, they estimated to be 50 years old. THey threw him back into the water......but that was OK. Because the rest of them caught some nice size fish that we ate last night! I have NEVER eaten such delicate trout!

Well, we left this AM and flew to SEattle and then to Portland and then home. The trip was pretty good. It was a tad rough, but I did pretty good with the travel! I HATE FLYING. So, this summer, we are going again...this time, I get to go fishing. It won't be so cold this time!!!!!

BUT the best news is that I am doing great on Cellcept. My first lab was normal! YIPEE! So, now the doctor is upping my meds to 2,000 mg per day-4 pills. Hopefully when I see her on Wed she will lower my pred some. I had to have blood work done up there and she had to call in the script for me to have more meds so I would not run out! I am really not getting too yucky sick on this med...I am glad!

Oh...My mom is doing OK, but I think she has an ulcer. I am just thankful that the cancer is NOT in her liver....what a blessed Christmas we had!

Dear Debby...

Good for you for going and having a wonderful time.... exploring the outdoors is so peaceful and relaxing for us too! We live in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains to the east and west. We hike when we can and drive up the trails all the time. It has to be the thing we enjoy the most when Randy is not working.

Have a Happy New Year and glad to hear you are doing so well with the med change. Keep smiling.... :)

Cheryl & Randy

Debby,

Glad the Cellcept works for you. I feel much better on this than I did on

Imuran. Everyone is different though. Sounds like you had a great trip. My

sister and brother use to live in Seattle. Never got out there though. My

daughter did twice and loved it. Hope you continue to do well.
