Guest guest
I did it! Knowing heavy rain is due soon, we went out to the Golden Gate Bridge and did a New Year's walk, across and back! That's something I always, always wanted to do before I got sick, but I never felt I could justify spending the time. I finally did it last New Year's Day. It was lovely out there this afternoon -- foggy and warm. I waved at people on boats that passed below, and they waved back. Some were tourist party boats doing a quick run under the bridge, some were freighters headed across the Pacific. Harper
Guest guest
Harper, How wonderful. I just look forward to the day that I feel well enough to walk the dog even. It's difficult having been so active to now feel like all you can do is struggle through the day at work and get home and crash. I am so happy for you. I know in time I too will again feel the same way as you. Just have to be patient. (Something I have never been, even before AIH). What a great way to close an old year and start a new one. Hope your New Year brings you much continued good health. Cold here in Virginia. .

On weekends, we usually have breakfast in the car at the foot of the Bridge, near a Civil War structure called Fort Point. In Vertigo, the Hitchcock movie, Kim Novak jumps into the water where we sit in our car with coffee and toast. Harper
