Yeah idiopathic that's exactly what he said. So now he has me stopping

the T3 for a few days and see what happens. I felt hypo before doing

this so that was a concern so he said to back to the levoxyl, I said I

am losing too much hair since I started the levoxyl. I know others on

it that experienced that same thing. SO, I have to wait for some

blood tests he took last Fri. I am giving him another chance :( The

compounding pharmacist said it could be my adrenals reacting to the T3

making me hypersensitive to the T3 and she recommended I see an

adrenal specialist. I told her we were treating Rt3 and she said

Adrenals should be taken care of first. I also told her my 24 hr

saliva results and said he should be treating me with those numbers.

He doesn't seem at all concerned about them.....and yet I am going

down hill fast.

What about this thinking....hives are usually a histamine reaction.

This is because I don't have enough cortisol in my body to calm

inflammation. My cortisol levels with the 24 hr saliva test were low.

Thanks Chuck. I have been really depressed today because in talking

with my doctor today, I just got the feeling he doesn't know what to

do. But after reading what you had to say, I am going to give it more

time with him. Although I am not sure he knows how to treat Rt3.

First he had me talking T4 with T3, when I told him after two weeks

the fatigue was not at all improved, he took me off T4 which I was

glad for because I kept reading NO T4 when correcting Rt3, he then

gives me twice as much T3 from 50mcg to 100 mcg a day. I am wondering

if this is why I have dealing with so much itching and hives. I read

we are to increase slower than this.

At this point I do not feel hyper. In fact I feel hypo...very tired,

weight gain, depressed, brain fog...you name it.

I am going to bring up all your ideas from you last two posts to him.

Thank you, you are extremely helpful and as I told Crystal, don't

done what I would do without this group to keep me sane.

Well, I don't know that there is such a thing as an adrenal specialist

either. But I am seeing a naturopathic MD on Tuesday. My doctor said

I would get the results of my labs this week and I never heard from

him. The way I feel, I need to get the right treatment fast...he

doesn't seem to be moving fast enough for me and I don't think he is

taking me seriously.
