Guest guest
I can honestly say that being overweight is an advantage to osteoporosis. For, since I am big, my bones are much stronger....but I wonder about the other things that happen to me for being so fat! debby Re: [ ] Gayle from Genny In a message dated 12/14/01 4:28:10 PM Pacific Standard Time, MKANTZLE@... writes: Be careful with the Fosomax if you have variceal bleeding. They stopped mine after this bleed and said I would never be able to go back on it. They are talking about soome type of infusion RX for me. Check with you MD. Yes, I should have mentioned that Fosamax can cause problems with the esophagus, and some people can't tolerate it. A nasal spray is available (don't remember the name) that is less effective than Fosamax but better than nothing. Harper

Guest guest
My goodness Gayle, your med bill must be something else. I take KDur for my leg cramps and low potassium but it doesn't help very much. I am working out about three times a week now, maybe that will help. Guest guest
Genny, Luckily I am on the discount program at University we are one of the few hospitals that does this thank God. I also am on Medicare now after a 2 year wait. Some of my drugs are free my prograf is mailed to me. And the rest I pay $10.00 CO pay, that can get expensive per month especially when I have had extra visits lately and more drugs added. gayle/trans 6-99 galye@... q~q ^
Guest guest
Hi Gayle: I'm so glad you have help with your medications. Your right it can be very expensive, even the CO-Pays with insurance but thank God for insurance. God has provided so far and it's well worth any price. Merry Christmas, Genny
