Ok, I thought that is what I remembered.

Have you heard of ³concerierge mediciine?²

It¹s where you pay a doctor a monthly fee and they are there for you 7 days

a week, as many appts as you need, no insurance involved for visits. Your

insurance will take care of labs, scans, surgeries, etc. but the doctor

takes care of you in terms of exams, prescribing, etc... I am looking into

one now...

Thanks,

sue

Yes, that is her big thing. Her practice always runs HRT seminars. She gave

me a bioidentical estrogen cream to use several times a week, but it flares

my sle. so, i can only use it infrequently. mostly just once a month.

What does Dr. Hall charge for her fist visit and will she prescribe Armour and

HC?

I am going to a doc in Orange County and I am not happy with him.  He refused to

test my Free T4 and do any antibody testing.

Well, you have to make an appointment. Her fee depends on whether or not you

get labs at your first visit. I think it was 450.00 for the first visit.

She doesn't take insurance but provides you with insurance forms to submit

to your carrier. It is also tax deductible. The subsequent visits are less

money. Yes, she writes for armour and HC and iodine. She is the one who is

giving me armour.

Her prices are worth it in my opinion. Once you are stable, you don't have

to see her as often. I have been averaging 1-2x a year.

I have a estrogen cream that she gave me. I can't take regularly because I

have sle. So, I use it on my inner forearm about once a month, maybe twice.

If I use it more often, it flares my sle/lupus. Prudence knows that and she

agrees with me.
