Guest guest
Hi guys and Bee, My name is and here is my story in a nutshell. Three and 1/2 years ago I cold turkeyed an anti-depressant and hit a wall like nobodys business. Afterward, because I was unable to reinstate the a/d the doctor put me on xanax for my anxiety (situational) at the time. This was the beginning of a terrible drug-induced nervous breakdown. After a few short months on the benzos, my endocrine system began shutting down. It took another year to realize what was happening and another 8 months to withdraw from the drug. The w/d was the worst thing I have ever gone through in my life. The residuals of which are very fatigued adrenals and thyroid. It has now been 16 months and I am still healing from the ordeal..with lots left to go. Of course as a result I am now battling the yeast monster. I have been on the diet for 4 weeks now. (This has not been too difficult since I have had really bad hypoglycemia and have not eaten sugar or even fruit for 3 years). I finally cut out my last bit of carbs last week which was a bowl of millet a day. Now I feel totally weird. I have already lost 5lbs (since Oct. 28) and my legs feel like jello. I work out 3-4 days a week with weights and like Nessy stated in her post...somedays it totally wears me out. I am only up to a tblspoon of coconut oil - but I am doing PLENTY of butter. My whole body, including my heart feels very weak sometimes. I need to check my BP -I think it could be low too. I've had lots of die-off sx and I'm getting over those more each day. I know it is not recommended - but I am using threelac and oxygen elements plus but will discontinue it (threelac - really like the oxygen elements) when I run out. So here are my questions: What can I do to maintain my weight and is this spacey, faint, wobbly leg, weak muscle feeling a sign of die-off or should I be concerned that it is my blood sugar? Thank you so much Bee for your wonderful, intelligent site! I feel like this plan is going to allow me to regain my lost health!
