Why do I need my T3 and T4 levels Checked?

I am having blood work done today and am having my Dr. check T3 and T4

levels. These levels have not been in the past Thyroid tests he did.

I am sure he will test them. He seems to be cool and test what I ask for,

In case he asks why I want my T3 and T4 levels checked. What should I tell

him? Why do I? So many people on here have told me I need those levels

checked. In case he asks I want to have a good answer.
