Hi all,

I found this group so helpful for my candida problem earlier this

year. I felt like I could do anything, and felt like I was on top of

the world before the following occured.

Since stupidly doing excessive overtime hours (12 hour shifts, 6 day a

week, for 5 months) at my previous place of work, and changing jobs (a

job that's even more stressful, even though I'm doing normal hours) I

have felt very run down and experience the following symptoms that I

didn't have before:

Constant intestinal gas noises

Fatigue

IBS, that has now turned into just diarrhea

Mild depression

Twitching

Headaches/Migraines

I did have Sinus/Hay Fever, for the first time in 3 years, but this is

ok now as the season has now passed

Itchy scalp

Hair Loss/thinnnig hair (in the last week)

Insomnia (where I would wake up in the middle of the night)

Tremors in my hand and arms

Poor memory & concentration

Anxiety

Low sex drive

Rapid heart beat at times

Cramps in legs and feet (I already take Cal/Mag in the amount as per

Bee's recommendations)

Highly irritable, etc...

According to the author's questionaire in a book called " Adrenal

Fatigue: The 21st Century Stress Syndrome " , I've got Moderate-Severe

case of Adrenal Fatigue.

Adrenal fatigue is a condition, much like Candida, that is mostly not

recognised by conventional medicine.

My blood tests indicate I've got normal hormone levels and normal

thyroid and Iron level. The only thing the doctor freaked out over was

my cholesterol level of 11 mmol/L. He blamed my current condition on that.

I thought I'd ask to see if anyone can help with this.

A question I have is, should I keep following the same supplement/diet

protocols as Bee outlines here?

The reason I ask is because, as we all do, I've been geting some

contradictory information about the eating habits I should follow for

this condition.

It is commonly prescribed for people with Adrenal Fatigue to eat a

modest amount of animal fats and animal protein, and eat essential

faty acids like flaxseed and nuts, and eat a modest amount of certain

carbs like rice and avocados, etc....

It's come to the point where I'm about to quit my new job, as this

lifestyle of stress is not helpful, and I can't keep up with the

demands. My health has to come first!

And is there anything (dietary or anything else) that can help with

growing my recently receding hairline back?

I'm about to see a Chinese herbalist who claims he should be able to

help me grow back my lost and thinning hair as long as my hair roots

are not dead. I hope I'm taking the right approach here!

And Bee, if you're reading this, can I ask you for your opinion of the

ingredients of the following supplements developed to combat Adrenal

Fatigue. The Naturapath who developed them (who wrote the book I

mentioned earlier) claims they have helped a great many number of

people to overcome this condition:

Herbal Adrenal Support Formula:

I'm sorry for the long post!

Much appreciated,

Denis
