Guest guest
Hi Denis, I too have struggled with adrenal fatigue. If you look under the file called " C) Treatments " the first article in that folder talks about adrenal fatigue. As for there being contradictions between Bee's diet and regular adrenal fatigue protocol, I think you'll do better to follow Bee's recommendations. To heal adrenal fatigue, you do not need a higher amount of carbs (like that from rice or avocados). The main issue, as I understand it, is that with adrenal fatiuge, a diet that maintains a constant blood sugar level is a key consideration to recovery. As avocados and rice are low-glycemic index foods they are often recommended as they are less likely to cause dips and spikes in blood sugar levels like refined carbs such as flour and sugar. HOWEVER, to regulate blood sugar, an even better option to low-glycemic carbs is to increase your fats intake like Bee recommends. Blood sugar levels are even more stable when your body runs on fats than low-glycemic carbs, so Bee's diet is more likely to address your adrenal fatigue and do it quicker than a diet higher in carbs, even if they are low-glycemic index carbs. As for your question about hair loss, mine was thinning as well. But since I started treating my adrenal fatigue, it has stopped thinning and has gotten thicker again, so just improving your adrenals may help with your hair loss. If you search the old post this topic has come up enough, that you might find reading the old post helpful as well. And, I hope you don't mind, but I also took a peak at the supplements you included in the email. One has alcohol in it, so I would stay away from that one for sure. Many of the others include vitamins that Bee already recommends. And since Bee's recommendations address what our bodies need to heal, I would recommend taking Bee's supplements and not the ones you mention, as they might lead to you having too much of some viatmins and not enough of others. Some of the other ingredients, in those supplements, are trace minerals that you will get plenty of just by using a good sea salt and drinking Bee's electrolyte drink. And the other glandular extracts and herbs in the supplements, I think could overwhelm a persons system or tinker too much with it. I have found that the more simple of approach (and less costly) of taking Bee's recommended vitamins and concentrating on good nutritional foods has done more for my adrenal fatigue than any overpriced supplement could. I have also found that the two other things that made the most difference for me other than Bee's sea salt and vitamins recommendations, were eating more gelatin rich bone broths and incorporating the other recommendations Bee outlines in her treatment folder. Honestly, you can't go wrong on Bee's plan. It works just as well for dealing with adrenal fatigue as it does for fighting candida. Jecca > > ...I've got a Moderate-Severe case of Adrenal Fatigue...
