Guest guest
that's a good question. i'd like to know the answer to that as well, because my doctor told me to eat mung beans while treating for candida, but I thought it wasn't part of the diet so I skipped it. I'm more interested in just the mung beans, not necessarily the noodles.
Guest guest
Most traditional candida diets are not as strict about carbs as Bee's diet is. Some allow whole grains like brown rice, some allow fruits, some allow beans, and some allow certain combos of these food. This would explain why your doctor told you that mung bears are ok while treating candida. The problem is that any amount of carb can feed candida, so the lower your carb levels, the less you feed candida. If you have a strong immune system and good nutirional habits, your body may be able to fight off a candida overgorwth on a higher carb diet. HOWEVER, most people, due to modern diets, really are not healthy enough to do that. So these higher carb candida diets may help allieviate some sysmtoms, or keep candida from getting worse, but if you truely want to be as healthy as you can be, you must improve nutrition and watch your carbs closely (like what Bee's diet recommends) until your body is healthy enough to keep candida from becoming an issue. --- Doris Huaman <bucu518@...> wrote: that's a good question. i'd like to know the answer to that as well, because my doctor told me to eat mung beans while treating for candida, but I thought it wasn't part of the diet so I skipped it.
