Guest guest
and sue- People are genetically different. What works me may not work for you. I feel so much better on 4 grains of Armour that I will never go back down. The same goes for my Physician who is a highly educated MD in natural medicine. She takes 5 grains because it works for her. I don't think that she would take that much if it didn't work for her and she defiantly understands how the thyroid hormones work. So. To say that, that much T3 is not good for anybody is simple not true. It depends on that person's genetics and individual thyroid needs. Nancie -- Re: t4 and t3 vs armour That's what I thought too. But then you have the people who swear that they don't feel good unless they take 5 or 6 grains of Armour every day. I don't really know how to fit them into the equation. BTW, I'm not trying to bug you; just learn and understand. .. .. > Posted by: " eastodurango@... Guest guest
HI , I have heard that folks ‹ and then some who take just 30 mg and say they have heart palps ‹ that¹s just so odd it affects that quickly and drastically when it is a hormone our body makes but then again, we shouldn¹t need to ³add stuff² to our bodies unless it¹s missing...and then to get that fine blance of the right amount is the trick. I take 15 mcg cytomel a day now. I was at 5 mcg a day ‹ and 75 mcg levo and am back to 100 mcg. I can say I am waking up an hour to two hours earlier since the change, my heart ³feels² like it¹s racing but my pulse is good ‹ and I do get some palps. I am hoping these will taper off ‹ this is my ³optimized dose² that suppresses my TSH and gets my Frees where I need them but had cut in way back for four months to give my adrenals a break. Sue BTW: I don¹t get bugged easily at all ‹ I love a lively discussion just don¹t like name-calling and bone-jumping and public thrashings. Guest guest
HI Nancie I am sure we both totally agree with you ‹ I have friends who take just 30 mg of Armour or even 50 of Levoxyl alone and they are ³fine², lose weight, feel great others who take the same amount and feel they are having a heart attack. I actually never said T3 is not good for anybody ‹ I posted it a few times: those who have Adrenal Fatigue should not take T3 during the healing process; those who take T3 should not take more than absolutely necessary. That¹s really about it and it steamrolled into an unnecessary ball of garbage. Sue On 10/15/08 4:29 AM, " Nancie Barnett " <deifspirit@...> wrote: > > > > and sue- > People are genetically different. With all due respect, if you genuinely believe that taking Cytomel causes heart damage, why are you taking it? Or, conversely, if you are taking Cytomel, why are you telling us that even a euthyroid dose causes heart damage? Chuck
